THE purse has three compartments and the wood toys have secret, hidden compartments. Surprise gifts can be found in the compartments like: Lucky coins; heart shaped sticky note pads; pencils; and, in several cases, a valuable un-circulated Kennedy Half Dollar or other US coins minted in the current year to memorialize the year the craft was made; and various diary’s.
GAME solutions are given below.
FINDING THE HIDDEN COMPARTMENTS:
RACER (2 hidden compartments with surprise gifts): There is a pencil located in a hole drilled into the car from the front and accessed by removing the small plastic plug on the front “bumper” of the car. There is a cavity 1.5″ diameter by .75″ deep located in the underside of the car and accessed by removing the black plastic plug. This cavity contains a heart shaped sticky note pad, a un-circulated Kennedy half dollar, and several “lucky” coins (no commercial value). The instructions provided with the car are intentionally vague as follows: Before your big race, you should make sure your engine is ready to bring home the trophy. Engine access is under the car. You should also check the engine oil level. The oil level dip stick is up front. Right where it should be. If you still need help finding both of the secret, hidden spaces and the treasures they hold, email us at Info@The GreatestIsLoveCrafts.com and we will send you clear instructions.
CARGO TRUCK/MUSIC BOX (6 hidden compartments with surprise gifts): The main cargo bay is 7.5″L x 4.25″W x 3.5″D and is not one of the hidden compartments. A 5.5″L x 3.75″W x .5″D compartment (contains a 160 page hard backed diary of the same size and a pencil) is under the cargo floor. Remove the antenna and insert it into the hole behind the gas tank on the driver side pushing it all the way in. Removing this cargo false bottom will sound an “alarm” (a music box) A 4.5″L x 3.25″W x .5″D compartment (contains a 80 page diary of the same size) is under the first hidden compartment. Insert the antenna into the hole in the center of the underside of the chassis and push it all the way in. A 2.25″L x 1″W x 1.25″D drawer (contains 3 “lucky” coins) is behind the windshield. Pull out the golf tee in the center of the cab top. A 2.75″L x 2″W x 1.5″D drawer (contains heart shaped sticky note pads) is behind the front grill and also accessed by pulling out the golf tee. A 2.75″L x 1.875″W x .25″D (with more sticky notes) is under a false bottom of this drawer and accessed by inserting the antenna into the hole in the underside of the drawer. A 3.25″L x 2.25″W x .25″D compartment (contains a current-year, un-circulated Kennedy half dollar) is under this drawer and accessed by unscrewing the “radiator cap” so the drawer can be fully removed. The instructions provided with the truck are intentionally vague as follows: Find 6 hidden compartments with surprise gifts. The main cargo area is not one of them. The folded cardboard in the cargo area is just there for shipping support. You can throw it away. Before you venture out with your new truck, you should check your engine. It is just behind the front grill where it should be. The latch is on the roof. Careful, when the engine compartment reaches its stopping point, don’t try to pull it out further or you may break the “radiator cap”. Also, check your engine oil level through the hole in the underside of the engine compartment. The antenna can double as a dip stick. You should probably open your windshield to get better air flow during your trip. Don’t forget to check your transmission oil level. The antenna can be used as a dip stick for this task as well. Access is under the truck just behind the gas tanks on the drivers side. You will need to have the roof off the truck and push the dip stick all the way in to remove the transmission cover. Oh, yea, that will set off an “alarm”! Now, while you are looking into the transmission compartment, you may want to poke the dip stick into any remaining hole, just for the fun of it. When you close up everything, don’t forget to reset the “alarm”. Access is under the truck in back of the rear wheels (this is not one of the 6 secret compartments). Ok, one last thing, pull the engine compartment out again. This time remove the “radiator cap” so you can pull the engine compartment all the way out to see the “oil reservior”. CEDAR TREASURE CHEST (7 hidden compartments with surprise gifts): The main chest compartment is 5 .375″L x 3.5″W x 1.375″D and is not one of the hidden compartments. Under a black cap inside the lid is a 1.5″ dia. x .5″ deep compartment (containing an un-circulated Kennedy half dollar). Four 1.375″ dia. x .5″ deep compartments (containing “lucky” coins) are under the chest feet. A pencil is stored in a compartment behind the black cap on the back of the box. A 5.375″L x 3.5″W x .5″D compartment is under the floor of the main chest compartment and accessed by inserting the pencil into the hole in the bottom of the chest to dislodge the false bottom. The instructions provided with the chest are intentionally vague as follows: 1: The most valuable surprise gift is inside behind something that looks like it doesn’t belong there. 2: There is a smaller one of those things on the back of the chest. You should see whats inside. 3: When your feet are really tired, it feels good to remove your shoes. Even more so if you have 4 feet. 4: Sometimes in haste to finish a project, things get “swept under the carpet”. You will want to clean that up. The result of the second clue and a hole in the bottom will help you get the job done.
CEDAR TREASURE CHEST/MUSIC BOX (7 hidden compartments with surprise gifts): The top chest compartment is 9.875″L x 6″W x 1.25″D and the drawer is 8.25″L x 4.25″W x 1″D. These are not part of the 7 hidden compartments. A 1.5″ Dia. x by .4″D compartment (containing a current-year, un-circulated Kennedy half dollar) is under the mirror inside the chest lid. Four 1″Dia. x .4″D compartments (containing “lucky” coins) are under the chest feet. A 7.5″L x 5.25″W x .75″D compartment (containing a locking diary) is under the drawer and accessed by pulling the drawer out to its stopping point then pushing up on the bottom of the top compartment allowing the drawer to slide all the way out. A 6.375″L x 2″W x .5″ deep compartment (containing a current-year, un-circulated US coin set) is in the block behind the drawer protecting the music box and accessed by completely removing the chest compartment bottom (by pushing up on it with the drawer part way out) and lifting the block out. The instructions provided with the chest are intentionally vague as follows: 1: A mirror can reveal things unseen. 2: The drawer does not come all the way out. What if it did? 3: There’s music inside that block of wood. What else? 4 thru 7: When your feet get really tired, it feels good to remove your shoes. Even more so if you have 4 feet. Need help?
